Beginnen met een huidverzorgingsroutine

Een goede huidverzorgingsroutine is de basis voor een gezonde en stralende huid. Het is niet nodig om het ingewikkeld te maken: met de juiste producten en stappen kun je eenvoudig beginnen. In dit artikel leggen we uit hoe je een effectieve huidverzorgingsroutine opbouwt die past bij jouw huidbehoeften.

6 STAPPEN VOOR EEN BETERE HUIDVERZORGINGSROUTINE

1. Reinigingsgel

Dagelijkse zeep kan hard en irriterend zijn, dus kies een milde reiniger die bij je huidtype past. Zoek naar een reiniger die de normale pH-balans van je huid behoudt en de natuurlijke beschermende barrière niet beschadigt. Als je een vette huid hebt, zoek dan naar een reiniger die speciaal is ontworpen om de poriën niet te verstoppen (niet-comedogeen) en die talg/olie reguleert, zoals Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser.

Beperk het reinigen van je gezicht tot twee keer per dag (’s ochtends en ’s avonds) en dep de huid na het reinigen droog. Vermijd het wrijven van je gezicht met je handdoek om te zorgen dat je geen irritatie veroorzaakt.

2. Dagcrème

Als je een droge huid hebt, breng dan de moisturizer aan terwijl je huid nog vochtig is. Dit helpt om vocht vast te houden en je huid zacht en soepel te houden. Je zou kunnen denken dat een vette huid geen moisturizer nodig heeft, maar zelfs als je merkt dat je teveel olie hebt, moet je nog steeds hydrateren – zelfs zichtbaar vette huid kan nog steeds vocht missen. Zorg er gewoon voor dat je een niet-comedogene, olievrije moisturizer gebruikt, aangezien dit betekent dat het de poriën niet verstopt.

Het gebruik van een dagelijkse moisturizer met SPF is een geweldige manier om ervoor te zorgen dat je geen zonbescherming overslaat. SPF 15 is de minimumwaarde voor adequate dagelijkse bescherming.

3. Zonnebrandcrème

Zonnebrandcrème is niet alleen voor warme dagen. Het regelmatig gebruiken van zonnebrandcrème kan helpen beschermen tegen vrije radicalen die worden veroorzaakt door UV-straling, die huidbeschadiging en veroudering kan veroorzaken. Terwijl SPF 15 de minimale waarde is die je nodig hebt voor dagelijkse bescherming, bieden zonnebrandcrèmes met een SPF van 30 (of hoger) nog betere bescherming.

Zorg ervoor dat je een product kiest met brede spectrum UV-bescherming om je te beschermen tegen zowel UVA-stralen (die veroudering veroorzaken) als UVB-stralen (die zonnebrand veroorzaken). En vergeet niet, hoewel waterbestendigheid helpt te zorgen dat je zonnebrandcrème niet wegspoelt (of zweet), vereist langdurige blootstelling aan de zon een tweede laag zonnebrandcrème.

4. Nachtcrème

Het gebruiken van een moisturizer voordat je naar bed gaat helpt om je huid de hele nacht gehydrateerd te houden en zorgt ervoor dat je huid in balans en glad aanvoelt wanneer je wakker wordt om de wereld tegemoet te treden. Het gebruiken van een nachtmoisturizer helpt je te profiteren van het feit dat je lichaam de broodnodige slaap krijgt. Een voedende nachtcrème zoals Cetaphil Rich Hydrating Night Cream met Hyaluronzuur beschermt de huid tegen droogte gedurende de nacht.

5. Oogverzorging

Vergeet niet om het gebied rond je ogen te behandelen in je huidverzorgingsroutine. De huid rond de ogen is delicaat en dunner dan de rest van je huid, en het gebruik van een ooggel of -crème voordat je ’s nachts naar bed gaat helpt om het ooggebied te hydrateren, te verhelderen en glad te maken.

6. Vergeet je lichaam niet

Hoewel je gezicht misschien is waar je je op richt wanneer je in de spiegel kijkt, probeer je lichaam niet te verwaarlozen. Omdat we het grootste deel van de dag bedekt zijn, is het makkelijk om de huid op je armen, benen, rug en torso minder prioriteit te geven, maar deze gebieden kunnen ook droog en geïrriteerd raken.


Zorg ervoor dat je een milde lichaamswash gebruikt en maak er een gewoonte van om je huid direct na het douchen of baden te hydrateren. Probeer ons assortiment van milde lichaamswashes, geurloos, verfrissend en kalmerend.
